Queens Residents Sue Rooster for Noise

Cock-a-lawsuit

According to reports, Queens residents have filed a lawsuit against a rooster accused of waking them up at 4 a.m. daily. The bird, nicknamed “Tony Soprano,” allegedly crows louder than LaGuardia flight paths and has refused mediation.

Neighbors describe the sound as “an airhorn inside a frying pan.” The owner insists it’s “cultural heritage noise,” but locals counter, “heritage doesn’t come with earplugs.”

TikTok’s #RoosterWars shows influencers yelling back at the bird. One viral video captured the rooster crowing during a Zoom court hearing.

Tabloids crowed. “CLUCK OFF” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “FEATHERED FELON.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “urban authenticity.” Governor Hochul muttered, “Get the bird a noise permit.”
