NYC Rats Launch Pizza Delivery App

RatDash

According to reports, New York City rats have finally embraced the gig economy, launching their own pizza delivery app: RatDash. Users claim it’s faster than DoorDash because the rodents take subway tunnels as shortcuts. The catch? The slice may have bite marks.

The startup’s slogan, “Cheese in 10 Minutes or It’s Yours,” has caught on, though customers complain about the squeaking push notifications. A beta tester said, “I ordered a Margherita and a rat showed up with a half-eaten pepperoni. Still tipped 20%—he worked hard.”

Investors are circling. “This could be the next Uber Eats,” said a venture capitalist, “as long as you don’t mind rabies with your ranch dip.” Meanwhile, restaurant owners are furious. One said, “I’ve spent decades fighting rats in my basement. Now they’re my competition.”

TikTok’s #RatDash trend shows rodents dragging pizza boxes through turnstiles. A viral video featured a rat ringing a doorbell with its tail before scurrying off into the night.

Tabloids went wild. “SLICE & SQUEAK” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “DELIVERY WITH TEETH.”

Mayor Adams called it “rodent innovation.” Governor Hochul muttered, “If a rat brings me anchovies, I’m moving to Buffalo.”
