Harlem Gospel Choir Starts NFT Project

Hallelujah on the blockchain

According to reports, Harlem’s legendary gospel choir has launched an NFT collection. Buyers don’t just get digital tokens—they get salvation on the blockchain. Each NFT comes with a heavenly “Amen” in lossless audio.

“We’re putting the holy in wholly decentralized,” explained one choir member. Parishioners are torn between praising innovation and worrying their grandmothers will end up mining Ethereum during Sunday service.

TikTok is filled with #HolyCrypto clips: influencers shouting hallelujah while scanning QR codes at the altar. One viral moment showed a preacher yelling, “The spirit compels you!” as he minted a JPEG of Jesus in Air Jordans.

Tabloids sang. “BLOCKCHAIN BLESSED” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL CRYPTO.”

Mayor Adams called it “faith-based fintech.” Governor Hochul sighed, “I can’t tithe in Bitcoin, can I?”
